Nancy O'Dell started her career in broadcasting as reporter for WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. In later years, she was employed by WCBD as an anchor in the morning and a crime reporter. Her reporting in Charleston regarding the leniency of police officers towards DUI cases has led to the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the incidents. The Associated Press honored Ms. O'Dell by awarding her the Best Report of the Years award in the entirety of South Carolina Media. O'Dell later worked at the Miami-based NBC station WTVJ-TV as an investigative reporter, before she joined Access Hollywood in the role as a weekend anchor. She also works as a co-anchor on Dateline NBC and NBC News Today. She has reported on the events such as The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards, as well co-hosting Pre ShowArrivals shows at The Emmys. In addition, she hosted Miss USA's pageant, as in addition to the Miss Universe Pageant.
